This week's reminders and updates:

1) Next week (Wednesday, October 19th at 6:30pm) is our School Council and we hope that many of you will be able to attend.  Some items on the agenda will be to discuss EDP, the gates, allergies and the kinder yard/primary/junior yards.  

2) King Fu Panda 3 has been chosen for the October movie night on Oct 28th at 6:30pm in the gym.  Tickets are $5 can be bought online and at the door & includes popcorn.  

3) Looking for volunteers!  Do you love Pokemon and/or Lego?  We are looking for volunteers to run a Pokemon and Lego club a couple of times a week.

4) Thank you to Doug, Luc, Judy and all of our wonderful parents that took time out of their busy schedules to take 3 busloads of students to the cross country meet.  It was a wonderful day and could happen without our staff and parent volunteers!

5) We are continuing to focus on appreciation at the school this month.  This week coming up we are challenging students to thank someone in their lives for making them feel valued and special.

6) Photo day - Wednesday! 

7) Cleaning out your garage or backyard?  Don't have the storage for that outdoor equipment?  Please feel free to drop off your gently used and or unused sports equipment in the office.  Any donations welcome.  We are also looking for pool noodles for a hockey type game.

7) We Scare Hunger - Begins Monday.  We will be collecting for the food bank until October 31st.  Any non-perishable food items are appreciated.
