Fwd: Music Monday -- for the school website
On Monday, May 4, we will be participating in the annual Music Monday event. At 12:45 pm, we will be singing the song called "We Are One" and the French version "Nous sommes unis" in our school Courtyard. This song was written by a 16 year old songwriter, Connor Ross, and it was written specifically for the Music Monday event.The purpose of Music Monday is to unite schools in their love of music and to promote the value and importance of music education. On Music Monday, we hope to fill the skies with music. Upon listening to this wonderful song, I'm sure you'll agree it has a powerful message, along with a memorable melody and catchy vibe.

Transportation for Students in a Joint Custody Arrangement and Having Two Homes
The Ottawa Student Transportation Authority (OSTA) has a NEW policy and procedure to deliver transportation services to students in a joint custody arrangement and having two homes. Both homes must be within the attendance boundary and eligible for transportation. A formal application process requires that both parents and/or guardians sign the application and schedule. Weekly or bi-weekly access schedules may be limited to ensure student safety. Other safety and operational risks will be assessed prior to approval or denial of each application.
The deadline for applications to ensure transportation as of the first day of
school in September 2015 is JUNE 1, 2015. All other requests will be processed after September 15, 2015.
